A: Cabaret for a Cause is an event series and group of young professionals based out of New York City.

Q: How do kids get involved in Cabaret for a Cause?
A: Cabaret for a Cause is a by-invitation-only event. Our performers have worked professionally on Broadway, in National Tours, on television and in film. 

Q: What makes Cabaret for a Cause different than other child performer events?
A: Cabaret for a Cause is different from other events in many ways. 
  • We do not charge our performers to participate, and we do not require them to sell tickets. Our kids are working professionals who donate their time and talents to help others. We do not believe it is fair to charge children or their parents.
  • Our team does not make a living off of these events. The ticket sales really do go to charity after business expenses (like venue rentals, purchasing sheet music, etc). We list the amounts donated directly on our website! 
  • Our performers aren't chosen based on talent alone - we look for kids with big hearts. Cabaret for a Cause isn't just a performance opportunity - it is a volunteer opportunity. We have packed meals for veterans, purchased holiday gifts for homeless families, worked tables at events for AIDS research, and more.
